Hey there,
Since this is the first MakeStuffUp.Info newsletter ever sent out, we’d love to hear your feedback on how to make it even better.
In every update, you’ll find our Good Stuff of the Month, new additions to the site under Freshly Added, along with other news & updates from the industry.
Without further ado, let’s get started!
Good Stuff of the Month:
Artboard Studio is a browser-based mockup tool that goes the extra mile. As designers, we spend a lot of time mocking up our designs. Artboard Studio offers a fast, robust mockup tool where you can design, animate, and collaborate with an extensive library of realistic-looking assets.
You can use it for free forever or subscribe to their plan at US$15/seat per month.
Freshly Added:
Kukla kit is the second newest addition to our site. Since the 3D visual trend is back, there’s no doubt some designers will find this beautiful 3D illustrative pack useful to have in their toolbox. As of writing this, Kukla kit is only available for Figma.
You can also find Kukla kit under Tools > Visual Design on MakeStuffUp.Info.
Other Stuff:
UX Collective released The Guide to Design to “serve as a reminder that when it comes to design, there’s no such thing as ultimate guides, magic formulas, or UX unicorns.” In this guide, you won’t find unnecessary jargon but practical information about the Design craft and the current state of the Design industry.
While MakeStuffUp.Info was aimed towards tech workers, who are a bit more familiarised with Design, this guide is a good start for those who want to understand what Design is like from the inside, and how to get a Design career started without spending a ton of money.
That’s it for this month. We hope to see you again next time!
Until then, keep on makin’ stuff up.
